The owner of the store was cashiering my transaction. I gave him a $20 bill, he pretended I gave him a $10 bill, and refused to check the till or security video at the time because the store was "too busy". They were rude, and accused me of lying. I was told to return the following afternoon to review the tape. I came back, he wasn't there, an employee told me to return that evening. 15 minutes before I was supposed to return, I got a call from another employee (not the manager) who told me they checked the till and it was even, and checked the video and the denomination of the bill could not be determined, and told me not to come in.The manager avoided me, refused to let me review the evidence, and was rude throughout the process. It sickens me knowing that the manager of a store can steal money from his customers so openly and obviously, I feel violated.Make sure the cashier leaves your payment on the counter while counting change, and always demand a receipt!
