General Info

Founded in 1950, the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Centers of Southern Oklahoma (now Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Centers) is a nonprofit organization located in Ardmore, Okla. The organization provides mental health care and chemical dependency treatment programs. It treats a variety of problems, including depression, anxiety, mental illnesses and substance abuse and dependency. The Mental Health and Substance Abuse Centers of Southern Oklahoma also treats individuals suffering with emotional disturbances, co-occurring illnesses, and marital, family and stress-related problems. The organization offers emergency crisis intervention, outpatient and psychosocial rehabilitation services. It additionally provides case management, pharmacotherapy, and consultation, education and prevention services. The Mental Health and Substance Abuse Centers of Southern Oklahoma (now Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Centers) offers special services for children, adolescents and senior citizens.
