010 years ago when Janice was starting out she did a session for a family reunion, the pictures were amazing and are still hanging on my wall, I am hoping to schedule a family session with her in Pismo again this year, I was so happy to find her still in business.

One word. FANTASTIC! Janice is an extremely talented photographer. Very innovative and fun. She was on time for all of our appointments and stayed until we were both comfortable knowing we got all of the shots that we needed. Her digital editing is stupendous. Our skin came out looking like we were kissed by angels. The tones, and colors were vivid where warranted and soft and delicate where needed. The photographs we received were gorgeous, not to mention it took less time to get them than what she promised. We also purchased a dvd of all of our images and she even added music to the slideshow of images she put together! It was a lot of fun to show at our holiday gathering - everyone loved it! We will go back to her again, and again for all of our photographic needs. We would recommend her to anyone who wants or needs a professional and fun and reliable photographer. We couldn't be happier.

- Photographer Janice Leach is an artist at heart. Oil paintings, portrait drawings, ceramics, mosaic tile, interior decorating and design are but a few of the ways in which the artist in Janice has come out in past years. Today and in recent years, Janice?s creative expressions are being captured through the eye of her camera. Specializing in digital photography, Janice uses a professional SLR camera to ensure the highest quality images. Janice states: ?Digital is the wave of the future and offers so much more. The number of pictures the photographer can take is greatly increased with digital because one does not have to consider the cost of film and developing. The LCD screen on the back of the digital cameras allows the photographer to see the picture just taken, thus enabling one to make necessary adjustments. Clients also see their pictures immediately, rather than having to wait days or weeks as when film was taken into the lab for developing. Now clients need only w ait the few minutes it takes to download and rotate images on a computer. I love the instant gratification and so do my clients!? Janice strives to embellish her subjects by the use of different lighting effects. Prior to one job photographing models at a fashion show, Janice spent the better part of a week perfecting the studio light setup that would create a ?lens flare? effect. Brilliant spots of different colored light streamed down behind the models against a velvety black backdrop.

- Janice?s favorite work with creative lighting involves the beach at sunset. (Her studio is located less than 10 minutes from four beaches ? Pismo, Grover, Oceano and Shell.) She states: ?The golden hues of the setting sun, reflecting on the crashing waves makes a striking backdrop. More importantly, catching the filtered sun at just the right time and angle on a subject is truly awesome.? Janice's vision and prayer is to one day be world renowned as the Photographer of Lights". ?I love art and photography. But I love people so much more! IT is a dream come true to be in a business where I work with both. I believe God made everyone beautiful in one way or another.
