      The Public Works Administration department is a part of the government of Pitkin County in Colorado. The department provides leadership, management, coordination and supervision to departments within the section. It is also responsible for the management of the county s assets and resources. The Public Works Administration department offers long-range planning solutions. The department s energy management section performs transportation and waste reduction activities. It additionally operates a facilities management division provides contract support and building maintenance and repair services. The Public Works Administration department s fleet section manages and maintains the county s vehicle and equipment fleet.
