Dr. Allen’s internship and residency were completed at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. His training included two years of specialized training in general surgery and three years in urology. He was named chief resident with training in renal transplantation and pediatrics. Dr. Allen founded The Urology Clinic in 1984 and the ambulatory surgery center, Georgia Lithotripsy and Laser Center, in 1990.
