Established in 1992, Alliance Abroad Group, L.P. is an educational travel agency serving students all over the world. Based in Austin, Texas, the firm conducts a range of customized internship, work, teach and training programs for students and graduates outside of the United States. In addition, it acts as an international recruitment and a staffing agency for several businesses and schools in the United States. Alliance Abroad Group, L.P. became a U.S. Department of State-designated program sponsor for the J-1 Work & Travel Program in 2002 and a U.S. Department of State-designated program sponsor for the Internship, Trainee and Teacher Programs in 2009. It holds affiliations with AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association), WYSE (World Youth Student & Educational Travel Confederation), FSA (Association of International Educators) and BBB (Better Business Bureau), to name a few.
