Throughout its history in Southern California, Bakersfield Family Medical Center has promoted wellness and preventive medicine. The center s facilities offer patient services, such as urgent care, pharmacy, lab, radiology, pediatrics and a multitude of other specialty services. In addition, the Heritage Physician Network is a group of physicians located throughout Kern County who have joined to form an Independent Physicians Association. These physicians remain affiliated with Bakersfield, although they maintain their own individual offices. Members who choose physicians in the Heritage Physician Network see selected doctors in conveniently located private offices. All members of the network can access the full range of services, programs and specialists offered by Bakersfield Family Medical Center.
