I shopped around a lot when I moved to the desert and was suprised to find that they were less expensive than most other vets in the area and have a nice, clean office. I brought in my dog December 12th to be examined. Lucy had been short of breath, lethargic, generally not herself. I waited a couple hours while tests were run. All tests came back favorable or inconclusive. I was sent home with antibiotics and a cough suppressant. The antibiotics seemed to help, but only marginally, and Lucy never returned back to normal. Tragically, Lucy passed away in the early morning of the 22nd, and just having finished the antibiotic prescription. Although the sincerity and customer service that followed the examination (staff called for several days following the appointment to follow up), I do think that from a veterinary standpoint someone should have asked further questions from a case involving an animal with problematic symptoms yet returned all normal test results. More thinking outside the box and less cure with a pill protocol. Perhaps this could have changed the nature of this review.

Glad to report my son is doing great and we since have continued going to desert dunes animal hospital after this episode because I didnt feel as if they wanted to do stuff just to make a buck. I was even able to visit during his stay. His cage was always full of blankies and clean money well spent!

I think the staff at this hospital is wonderful!

I have a new "rescue dog", and I was pleased with the free health check performed by Dr. Huston on her after she had been spayed there.

my other vet (won't mention name) was ready to write off my cat. dr. randazzo tried a few things, and voila, my cat is happy and healthy again. and it didn't cost a fortune. i can't reccomend this place enough. super friendly staff.

if i could give 6 stars i would. desert dunes is by far the best vet's office i've been to. i saw dr. randazzo, he didn't insist we run hundreds of dollars in tests to find out what was wrong with my dog, (like the last couple of vets i went to, with no solution) he diagnosed her, prescribed a medicine that worked, and she's got her puppy energy back. i really like his common sense approach. kathleen m.

Highly recommend this Vet Hospital for the fantastic care they take with my cat and the facility is very clean (important to me). I have seen several doctors at the Hospital and they have all been great but my favorite is Dr. Randazzo because he is kind, caring, and professional and will answer his phone on the weekends and evenings.
