I had a very unhappy experence with Jan's Halllmark in Birmingham Al. My hushand and i was the only blacks in the store at the time. I got ready to wrtie a check the sale person ask another clerk how much the cut amount for check writing the sad part about in i was the only person she ask about. i was so embarrass in front of everybody. I perorder some mercheandise for Christmas. on re turning home i open the box and one the pieces was missing. I live over 100 miles the store was closed which was a sunday so on Monday morning i made a phone call the Jan's Hallmark the clerk had a very nasty responds. she told me that they had gone through the box with me ( which they did not ) ask was she calling me a lie. I told her i though customer come first. I called the manger the next day the manger said about the same thing the sale clerk said. she also stated that i came out of the store with 3 bags which i purchase more items i spend over $360.00 of couse the same item that was missing i saw them saleing it to a nother customer becase sale clerk told several people that only one was ship to them.so the missing item that was missing out of my box was sold to a nother custmer
