Algen tests and calibrates all weighing equipment with certified weights traceable to the National Bureau of Standards and NIST. It serves Long Island, N.Y., New York City and all areas within an 80-mile vicinity of New York City. The company can also arrange services in other areas of the United States with affiliated companies. All of the company s new products carry a minimum of a one-year warranty. Algen also offers a five-year extended warranty that is available with service contract. The company s founder, Irving Aigen, is chairman of the board and has more than 40 years experience in the scale industry. Algen Scale Corporation is headquartered in Islandia, N.Y., and is privately owned.
