      Boston Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Boston, Massachusetts, offers personalized medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults who are struggling with an addiction to heroin, prescription painkillers, or other opioids. MAT is an evidence-backed form of opioid addiction treatment that is proven to help improve a person’s chances for long-term recovery. At Boston CTC, MAT combines a counseling component with prescription medication to help promote optimal long-term outcomes. Patients may participate in group or individual therapy, and they may receive a prescription for methadone or Suboxone, medications that have shown to be effective in helping curb opioid addiction when taken as prescribed by a qualified physician.
