      For nearly 50 years, the Zaffiro family of the Channel Fish Processing Company has provided fresh, high-quality North Atlantic ground fish to wholesalers throughout the world. From daily boat operations to final packaging of fillets, the company s quality control measures ensure product freshness and accurate grading. Both of its Canadian processing plants, Acadian Fish Processing and Inshore Fisheries, are strategically located near prime fishing grounds where approximately 20 vessels sail a short 3-hour course to yield choice day boat whole fresh fish. Fresh and fresh-frozen ground fish are hand-inspected before dressing and no additives or preservatives used in market preparation. Channel Fish Processing Company maintains a location in East Boston, Mass.
