Founded in 1971, Regional Income Tax Agency, also known as RITA, provides services to collect income tax for more than 120 municipalities and local cities in the state of Ohio. Located in Brecksville, Ohio, the agency is governed by a board of trustees elected by the regional council of governments for three year terms. The tax agency offers custom software solutions for performing various reporting functions that are required by municipalities and government offices in the state of Ohio. Its municipal services include consultation, quote on estimates, previous record processing, personnel training and system repairs. The agency also offers various other services, such as pension reporting, direct deposit, general ledger and fixed-asset tracking services, and utility bill, permit and license accounting.
