In short: do not shop here. The owner is exceedingly dishonest and clearly under-capitalized. I am concerned that they are on the verge of going out of business and therefore cannot afford to refund my money.



I picked up a lovely necklace for my girlfriend for Christmas here. Very nice piece and she really liked it.



In less than a month, the necklace had tarnished and instead of being a gold chain, was now a stained brown chain.



I went back to return it and they were only willing to give store credit. It seems completely ridiculous - they sold me shoddy merchandise - I don't want another piece that craps out in less than 30 days.



I went through a number of cycles of calls with owner, Irene, who was difficult and rude at every turn. I requested a simple refund and she refused, claiming that a small business cannot afford to give refunds. She asked I wait while she went off to talk to the jeweler and then wait while the jeweler went to her caster, etc. etc. It was a brutal, time consuming process which still, over a month later, has not been resolved.



From the other reviews here, my experience does not seem unique.
