Crawford County Sheriff s Office is responsible for the overall administrative and managerial functioning of prisons of the Crawford County in Ohio. It trains on-duty employees to handle all nonemergency and emergency calls. The office s civil department is responsible for all services of the civil process according to the Ohio Revised Code. The department looks after the sales of real estate, delinquent taxes, executions against property, evictions, summoning jurors, purchasing and processing. It also disburses money from sales, supervises financial services and technical support and develops policies. Crawford County Sheriff s Office, located in Bucyrus, Ohio, also offers a variety of rehabilitation programs, such as drug abuse resistance education and inmate work release programs. The drug abuse resistance program is designed to educate area students about the dangers of drugs, alcohol and violence.
