      Hi, Welcome to Good Shepherd If this is your first visit to our page we're glad you came. If you're returning we're glad to see you again. Good Shepherd is located in Canandaigua which is in the Finger Lakes Region of upstate New York. Good Shepherd is part of a larger church family called Lutheran Church. However, we're not much into labels here. We're into Jesus Christ! We worship Him as Lord and Savior and we believe He is the second person of the triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe he became a person like us and that in His death and resurrection He has redeemed us from death and given us eternal life. We're also into relationships. We believe that relationships, both between us and God and each other, are vital. We are a community of believers, gathered under the Word and Sacraments of our Lord, who seek to bring God's Kingdom into our community and beyond it. We do that by Sharing Christ, Changing Lives, which is also our Mission Statement. We hope you enjoy your virtual tour of Good Shepherd. We're even more hopeful that you'll come see us in person.
