      Carmichael Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry by Dr. Micheal "Tim" Koch DDS is a full-service dental practice that cares about preserving and maintaining your smile through smart dental care and treatment plans. Dr. Koch is a very conscientious dentist whose practice offers general dental care, cleanings, fillings and typical routine dental treatments as well as more advanced restorative dentistry services. Our Carmichael offices offer advanced cosmetic and restorative dental services including implant and one day, one appointment crowns. Our treatment plans are designed to work with your budget. We understand the importance of sustainable dental treatment plans. By "sustainable" we mean dental treatment plans designed to be completed. We work with our patients to get the best value out of their insurance. It is often the case that dental insurance will only cover a few procedures annual. We will always seek ways to best apply existing insurance and help our clients that self-pay get the best value while focusing on overall dental health. We are also advocates of "second opinion dentistry". There are cases where necessary dental services could cost tens of thousands of dollars. Under most circumstances people shop and compare. In situations that involve medical treatment, a second opinions is highly recommended. Whether you need to compare treatment plans or want a second opinion, we offer discrete (sometimes referred to as "blind") second opinions. In some cases we have saved our patients ten thousand dollars and that made all the difference in how much time was spent in treatment and a successful conclusion of the treatment plan. Dr. Michael "Tim" Kochs is a Carmichael, California native who returned home to open a general service dentistry office after graduating dental school. Dr. Koch grew up in Carmichael and attended La Sierra Highschool. We have been in Carmichael, CA for nearly 40 years!
