I called castle renovations for a second opinion on damper replacement. When the technician came he was polite and wore booties to keep my carpet clean. He told me that my damper did not need to be replaced, it only needed a new handle. When we bought our house the damper handle was missing. The first company told me that I needed a new top damper.
