Having surrounded by books is the most peaceful thing in the world. There is really nothing like it and whenever I am in here, I feel that way.

They have so many great books in here. I love the fact that they also have a poetry section. I try to stop by here every weekend and look for great books.

Services/Products
We hope to alleviate the burden of the poor through material distribution and outreach. Our thrift store acts a way to finance our non-profit mission, and as a place to serve our clients, and as a center for community development. Our store has a wide selection of furniture, art, household items, clothing, books, DVDs, and CDs. We offer discounts on children's items on Mondays, on women's clothing on Tuesdays, on men's merchandize on Fridays. Our book store partner, Diana's Books, specializes in volumes for students, teachers, and home-schoolers. Diana's Books gives scripts to a local youth drama organization, foreign language volumes to the International Hosteling of Washington DC, and ships chapter books to Peace Corps' workers in Micronesia. We accept gently-used items. We try to do the best we can with each item given to us. We will try to sell your item. We will also try to give your item. As an example of our international distribution, we work with Art for Humanity in distributing unwanted clothing to Honduras. If we cannot sell or give an item away, our next avenue is proper recycling. In 2009, Diana's Books, recycled 47 tons of paper. We will take your old encyclopedia for this purpose.
