Booth Library is one of the libraries that is located in Charleston, Ill. The library has a collection of various materials, including books, periodicals, newspapers, encyclopedias and magazines. In addition to circulating materials and providing information access, it organizes various programs, special events and classes throughout the year. Booth Library s events include children's book fest s, Pan African Bookfest and Cultural Conference, literary feasts and storybook festival s. The library also offers nationally recognized adult and children's literacy programs. Its facilities include a reading room, study area, audiovisual center and computer laboratory. The library operates an organization, Friends of the Library, which provides financial support and other assistance.
