I've been a patient of Dr. Zouzoulas for 10 years, and I have been a patient of AOCC for over a year. I trust Dr. Z with my life! AOCC is immaculately kept, and the infusion team and lab are the most well-run machine I've ever seen. Awesome practice. Definitely recommend - specifically Dr. Zouzoulas.

This review is specific to Dr Gladue. After the first visit I liked her ok - she was straight forward and no nonsense which I prefer in a doctor. Unfortunately, after a battery of tests and I still have horrible pain, she gave me no direction on what to do next. I tried calling and sending emails, to which I got very curt answers and still no direction. Definitely WILL NOT be returning to see Dr Gladue. It's sad because the facility and the front desk personnel are stellar!

Dr. Kashif has been a Godsend. He is such a kind doctor with a wonderful bedside manner. I love the staff. My condition is finally manageable.

Steer clear. Front office staff is unsympathetic and rude. 9 minutes late for a 45 minute appointment that was scheduled a month ago. Literally took 5-6 minutes waiting on elevators and staff says "yeah, we get that complaint a lot". They were unwilling to see me and wanted to reschedule for the following month.

General Info
Why see a Rheumatologist at AOCC? Arthritis & Osteoporosis Consultants of the Carolinas (AOCC) was founded in 2000 when Drs. Ahmad Kashif and Gary Maniloff working at the Nalle Clinic and Drs. Robert Kipnis and Andrew Laster of Presbyterian Healthcare Associates joined to establish an independent rheumatology practice. Combining years of experience in private practice, academic teaching and clinical research, we were excited about the ability to translate what we learned into a clinic setting that would provide highly individualized and state-of-the-art care. Dr. Charles Seehorn joined our practice in 2002 after completing his Fellowship at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN. In 2006, Dr. Alan Elliott joined the group after completion of his rheumatology fellowship at UNC Chapel Hill. The addition of Dr. Elliott has allowed AOCC to continue its commitment to providing timely evaluation and treatment of patients with rheumatic disease. Healthcare Plans: Call us for more details!
