Cypress of Charlotte is a nonprofit retirement community that was established in 1999 and is spread over an area of 60-acre landscaped campus. It is located in Charlotte, N.C., and offers various types of accommodations, including apartments, villas and cottages. It provides a variety of amenities, such as paved walking trails, dining restaurant, clubhouse, health center and television with cable connections for every resident. It offers a wide range of services, including meal preparation, laundry, housekeeping and property maintenance services, and health care and wellness programs designed to provide the senior citizens with an environment of home. In addition, Cypress of Charlotte organizes various events and activities that include annual Festival in the Park, golf tournaments and evenings of classic and contemporary theater and music at the North Carolina Performing Arts Center.
