I have taken all my dogs to this shop for years.The employees at Canine Design are the most sensative people when it comes to your dog. I can not believe someone would write badly about this company, she obviously has never had a professional hair cut for her dog before. The groomers at Canine Design would not pull a dogs hair that is the most stupid thing I have read. These girls treat me and my dog with the utmost respect and take the time to show me how to care for my do properly so that my dog is not a matted mess probably like this lady Havanese. I strongly recommend this company for your dog, your dog is treated like there dog. Do not let one unhappy person out of hundreds of happy customers deter you from a happy experience and wonderful hair cut for your dog.

I realize we will never be able to please everyone. But that problem with the groomer and your havanese was never addressed with the manager or owner of the shop. The manager that day tried to stop and talked to you. The groomer is no longer working for us. She had no right treating anyone in that manner. I have been in business a long time and go out of my way to please. Just posting an ugly review wasn't the right way to handle the situation. Speaking with management would have been more effective. Our employees ARE CARING and would take care of your babies as they would theirs. We have lots of clients that are happy. I'm sad to say we didn't get a chance to resolve the problem. I hope who ever reads this THINKS before posting and contacts management with problems. THEN if the problem isn't resolved then I can see posting a comment.I am sorry your visit was so rude. We do have the best groomers in the area I hope someday you see that too.

Do your pet a favor .... do not go here!!!!! I took our Havanese into this so called "Pet Friendly" environment and was treated rudely from the beginning. During our "New Customer" consultation, the groomer took a comb and continued to pull my dog's hair until he yelped. There was no compassion toward him nor toward the way my family. This groomer was so offensive and abusive toward my dog that I walked out and so did the lady behind me, both taking out dogs with us. I will never go back to this place again and I strongly recommend that you protect your pet and find a nicer more friendly atmosphere for you best friend.
