I had an awful experience with their other store. Nasty Customer Service and they ARE NOT MILITARY FRIENDLY.

We saw this furniture store driving by, so we stopped in. I hesitated to buy anything at first cause they didn't honor military discount. So I told them if I didn't find anything @ The Dump then I'll be back. Next day we came back, bought 2 pieces of living room furniture, planned on taking it home that day, come to find out there was a 2 week wait, just to pick it up!!! So we had to find something else, for something faster which was the 2 pieces, few days later my husband picked it up after work. Opened the box, Well the console, it was cracked!!! & the salesmen said it was REAL WOOD, HAHAHA, NOT!!! FAKE WOOD, MAYBE REAL WOOD ON THE TOP, BUT THE REST IS FAKE!!! & you have to assemble!!! Hello this is suppose to be a professional furniture place, not walmart or target, if I wanted furniture like this, I would of went there!!! But now I know NEVER TO GO TO VALUE CITY EVER AGAIN!!! THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME & MY LAST!!!! My husband is on his way to return the crap furniture for our refund, & I wished there was room in our SUV for the furniture, plus our kids & myself cause I would love to talk to the SOOO CALLED SALESMEN that claimed to tell me that it was REAL WOOD!!! Thats what really PISSED ME OFF!!! DISHONEST "WANNA BE" FURNITURE STORE!!! By the way they wouldnt let me post this unless I colored a star~PLEASE!!!!

they're great with helping you find what you need and showing you around. they aren't too pushy or anything. delivery time isn't too bad either. i searched websites and compared prices and found that for the money Value City beat out havertys, and haynes... we got the most COMFORTABLE COUCHES EVER!! The only thing I didn't like is, when we got the couches delivered (by their very friendly and accomadating delivery men) one of them was "broken" and it took the customer service reps FOREVER to get back to me, they pretty much just let me go 5 days without hearing from them, and then made it seem like a hassle when I called them. But hey I paid almost$3000 for my furniture, and want it fixed. I was polite the whole time, I'm not one of those crazy nagging people... but the associate pretty much forgot about me, and never called me back...



other then that! I would definitely go back. I think I'm going to go back for a bedroom set in a few months. I suggest you look online to get an idea of what you want, and then walk the floor... the associates may not be able to answer every single little answer but they can tell you where to find it, or find someone who will. They usually have nice sales too! Combining pieces and reducing prices... Check it out!!!
