I'd first like to start off by saying 5 stars just simply isn't enough for this place. So I came to Chicago to attend my friends wedding. I rented a Cadillac CTS Coupe on Turo. I parked my car right in front of the Chicago History Museum. It's 12pm mind you and the street is moderately busy. I was in the museum about an hour. I go back out to my car to add more time only to discover that some human trash had busted out my window and stolen my backpack with some expensive items. After dealing with the police and Turo, my next goal is to get the window fixed as fast as possible. I drive to B&L and sit down with a representative. After explaining my situation to the rep Gino the owner is nearby and hears the conversation. He understood it was a time sensitive issue and took over the interaction. He immediately had someone on the phone that had the part in stock and I got it replaced quickly and painlessly. I am very thankful for his exemplary customer service even though I was not doing business directly with him. If I ever come back to Chicago and need anything automotive done I will come see him for sure. Gino is a very trust worthy and outstanding business owner. He does it right. Thank you Gino!

I have taken my vehicle to B & L in the past for body repairs. They always did a great job on my cars. Recently I found that my truck's roof was damaged by rocks being thrown from overpass. Since my insurance deductible is high from a accident my teen daughter caused, I would have to pay out of pocket for the repairs. I got a great price and once the job wsas completed it looked great. The owner, Gino spotted a small pin bubble after completetion ( I didn't see it till I was shown), and didn't like it so he had it re-done. Again afterwards the truck looked like new. They did a excellent job on the repairs and I was completely satisfied. Anyone that wants great work that is guaranteed for a greatr price should stop by this place.

This is the only place I would ever take my vehicle to get work done. My truck (2013 Jeep Cherokee) is my baby and when it was hit while parked, B&L made everything smooth and gave me reassurance that everything would be taken care of. It wasn't just because that is what they have to say, but you felt as though you were getting the best work from how their people are with you (ie. front desk, estimator, workers & even the owners who are not just sitting in their office, but getting their hands dirty too). They made sure all was done and they took care of all paperwork with the insurance and called the rental place to have us picked up. I didn't have to worry or do anything, they did it all and with a smile. I LOVED IT and the work that was done, you couldn't find anything wrong with it and it was done within the time they said it would be. No time changes, they called with updates. I was at easy with the stressfull situation it could have been, they made it easy and comforting. THANK YOU B&L AUTOMOTIVE....ALL OF YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING!!!

B&L was recommended to me by my State Farm Agent who said they are in the TOP TIER of State Farm shops to recommend! I had about $3k in body work that needed to be done thanks to some idiot hitting my Lexus 3 years ago. These guys did amazingly good work and were an excellent value. I will never go to another body shop. So when a truck hit my wife (again the other guys fault and his insurance had to pay) I went back to B&L for this $4k job. Only this time I had the other guys insurance (Ryder truck rental) send me a check for $4k, then asked B&L to repair the car for less if they could - using perfectly good "pre-owned" parts. They did flawless repairs for $3.1k - allowing me to "profit" by $900. They do great work. They are friendly and professional. Even the waiting room is cool - fresh coffee, bottled water, and a kid's area my 9 year old daughter loves due to the toys and one of those (free) arcade "rod-hockey" games. They even recycle! I had a brand new car involved in a collision in 1998. It had only 980 miles on it. I brought it to B & L Automotive Repairs. They took good care of my car. I'm still driving it today.
