      Connections for Abused Women and their Children, also known as CAWC, works toward ending domestic violence. It provides emergency shelter for women and children. The organization also offers individual and group counseling and advocacy services. Connections for Abused Women and their Children provides the Haymarket Center Domestic Violence Program. It operates throughout Chicago and offers domestic violence service programs. In addition, the organization s Humboldt Park Outreach Program includes crisis intervention, safety planning and referral solutions. Connections for Abused Women and their Children provides 24-hour hotline services. It also offers life skills training and educational solutions. The organization provides support services and conducts special events.
