I used Pet Lodge several times over the summer and the staff took great care of my dog. I highly recommend them and will use them whenever I travel.

Left my dog this weekend, not at all impressed. When I picked him up they did not give me an itemization of what I paid for. They did not trim his nails, which I did pay for, once I requested the itemization. They could not find his bed. I asked why it wasn't with him, they had no explanation, except maybe he had an accident. I replied that he would not have had an accident if he was properly cared for. I left with a very uneasy feeling of how the dog was cared for over the weekend. One thing I am sure of, I will NOT be returning to THE PET LODGE of CLIFTON PARK. Kelly D.

Just recently boarded our dog for his first ever stay at Pet Lodge - we will definitely use Pet Lodge whenever we go away. They took great care of him.

We are so happy with The Pet Lodge of Clifton Park. Every time our dogs have stayed there the staff has greeted them enthusiastically and taken great care of them. Love the web cams too so we can see our doggies while we are away from them!

My dogs always come home happy and healthy from their stays at Pet Lodge. Unfortunately, my one dog cannot do the daycare, so we make use of the one on one play time and nature walks that they offer. The staff is always polite and professional and are always enthusiastic towards the dogs when we drop them off.

This is my first time using this branch of Petlodge. I was impressed by the overall clean appearance and the friendly, warm and welcoming staff. I left with a smile on my face, feeling like my Shih Tzu was going to be well taken care of. I was right. On my return I was met with a happy dog who smelled great even though I did not authorize a bath. This facility promoted Peace of mind and a happy dog. I was very thrilled with my doggie boarding.

One star is too much!

If you love your pet, STAY AWAY FROM THIS CALLOUS, IRRESPONSIBLE, AND DANGEROUSLY INCOMPETENT FACILITY! We left our active, 2 year old poodle with Pet Lodge Clifton Park for a few weeks while we went on vacation and when we returned found her splay-legged and dying on the floor of her pen. When we entered, we were told, "she did great. She's fine, but she's having trouble standing; she keeps slipping on the floor." When we went in the back to get her, she was lying on the floor, legs wide apart and, as I sat on the floor, picked her up and cradled her in my arms, she looked plaintively at me, breathing erratically, sighed, and died in my arms. .... When we left her with Pet Lodge, we had given specific instructions both verbally and in writing about giving her medications every morning and we were told "not to worry," that all instructions would be followed. Obviously, they were not! We also left the name, address, and telephone number of our vet and told them to contact him should there be any problems. They did not even bother to do that, either! In fact, they continued to deny there had been any inkling of a problem. PLEASE, IF YOU VALUE THE WELL-BEING OF YOU PET, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! THEY ARE CALLOUS, CARELESS, NEGLECTFUL AND DANGEROUS TO YOUR PET.

THANK YOU!!!!

We have a big, loving chocolate lab which is truly a member of our family. We left him for a week at the Pet Lodge in Clifton Park. This was the first time we left him with someone. The care he got was fantastic!! Thank you to all the staff for taking care of our baby. We would not hesitate to take him there again to stay. Anyone who loves there dog should use the Pet Lodge.

My Dog LOVES Pet Lodge!

I began bringing my dog to pet lodge when I was working a lot. At first my dog was hesitant but after 1 visit, she warmed right up. Now when we drive up she wags her tail frantically and barks with excitement. This is really saying something since she doesn't even do this when I bring her to my sisters house where shes been going for years! Recently I brought her there for a weekend. At first I worried about it leaving her for so long but when I came home I was glad I did. She was well cared for and in good spirits when I got back. I would recommend PetLodge to anyone who loves their pet. Thanks Pet Lodge!!!

My 10 month old bulldog Diesel was severely injured while at Pet Lodges. When he came home from a weeklong stay at Pet Lodges, his head, neck and jowls were covered with dog bites. His injuries required 4 vet visits, anaesthesia, steroid and antibiotic shots, and antibiotics. His neck is now covered with scars. To make matters worse, the owner of Pet Lodges was unresponsive, uncaring and at times, downright rude. He returned none of my calls until I threatened a lawsuit and at that point yelled and swore at me over the phone. Entirely unprofessional. If I could I would give Pet Lodges zero stars. If you love your dog, do some research and send them somewhere else!

Great place for your pup

The staff at the Pet Lodges does a great job with our six month old puppy, letting him get getter socialized and, more importantly, tiring him out. We were totally sold on this place when one day we couldn't get there by 6:30 to pick him up thanks to a bad snowstorm. They kept our pup overnight, fed him, and didn't even charge us extra.Top-notch service, we're quite happy.
