Terrific service- was advised my old truck need a engine by a incompetent tech .. so I called Davo’s he pick up my truck, diagnosed it needed a few parts, he was up front about the repairs .. called after diagnosing, advised the cost (excellent tech & great service, no surprises) did a terrific job

After dealing with multiple mechanics, Mr. DAVO was the ONLY skilled professional that knew just how to fix the issues with my truck. Not only did he perform a thorough inspection to determine the problems with my vehicle but he was straight forward and honest with what repairs were needed and my options on repair work. He isn't concerned with the money but more concerned with making sure he delivers the service and repairs that he commit's to. I run a non-profit out of Savannah GA that helps families who are having to travel for their chronically ill child to receive acute care. We assist with travel related expenses such as gas, food, lodging when the Ronald McDonald House is full, and car repairs. I received a referral from the Children's Hospital in Atlanta for a family whose only car was not driveable. The child has stage 4 neuroblastoma (cancer). The family is from Columbus, GA. Being in Savannah, I did not have any connections in Columbus, so I had to rely on reviews like this one to find a reputable repair shop. Mike at Davo Jr Automotive was wonderful to work with. He called or texted updates on the repairs regularly, but most of all, he was fair and honest. I had an initial quote from a dealer fro the repairs needed. Mike checked everything out and determined that was not even the issue. He fixed the vehicle for a fraction of the cost of the dealership. I highly recommend his company to anyone.

Hands down, the best car repair shop in Columbus, GA. We have had work done at Davo Jr's two times now. Each time, the work was thorough and quickly finished. Don't bother with any other shops!

From the moment you meet the people here including the manager you will probably feel like you have known them for a long time. Even though the part was late coming in they fixed it after hours and allowed us to come pick it up that night and they guarantee their work so you won't have to pay anything if that issue wasn't done correctly the first time. They get returning customers because you know they will get it done right at a reasonable price. Since they are founded on integrity they encourage you to let them show you the part(s) that was not working properly. I would definitely recommend them without a doubt and will try to get any future repairs done by them. The owner and evening mechanic have been friends and working together for well over 20 years which tells you they trust one another and the female mechanic we spoke to knew her trade and the fact of her being a little dirty from work lets you know she means business. All around we were very impressed. Living in Germany for 6+ years really has made it hard to trust an American mechanic(sorry but true - you know the stories) but from the get go you have the comfort level with this shop and everyone in it. This is the shop that makes you wish you stayed in your home town because you knew who you could trust and who you couldn't - well, you take the chance and let them work on your vehicle and you will at least know you have found a mechanic shop you can trust in the Columbus area.
