Betty and Richard are both very nice IF people give them a chance. They have A LOT to deal with,and lets see how many of you could run their business and keep smiling ALL day...Bet you would lose. If you don't like the store or service,STOP complaining and find somewhere else to go,or shop,pick up mail and be patient. They are nice people unlike some of the local ladies that live out there.Now that is another story....

I have found it to be the same as some other folks. I go to get gas and pick up my mail. I try to get Betty to serve me as I encounter someone else I will not describe. If you what to be miserable, be miserable. Just don't be angry with me, I just came to pick up my mail. As the old saying goes, "If you don't like the smoke get out of the kitchen". P.S. It doesn't cost a cent to smile and be nice. It might just make your day.

Great service! Good prices for gas if Canadian too...

I have been going to Waneta Quick Stop for the last 5 or so years. I have never had a problem with either of the owners. Please keep in mind that they are usually extremely busy with fuel/grocery sales and mail p/u. I try to go when I know it will not be so busy. So if you feel slighted, it may just be that they are trying to get to the next customer as quickly as possible. People are so impatient! The only problem I have is that sometimes a couple of the fuel stations are not working. Right now I think they all are working. The things I like the most are I get to pay in cdn funds (pumps are setup in cdn), they now have debit, not as expensive to purchase fuel there, and I can p/u usa parcels there for a small fee. What's not to like about saving money.

Amen to the last review!! I agree. I love dealing with Betty but I avoid her husband like the plague. Even over the phone I have been yelled at by him. I have considered not using their services several times. I think he seems to forget that we pay him for a service and he is making good money off of us. Isn't the customer "always right"?

I pick up mail there and fill my vehicle with gas. Its just across the border for us. The people that own it are as opposite as night and day. She is super friendly, a pleasure to deal with. Her husband on the other hand is enough to make me stop going there. He is rude, obnoxious and just plain nasty. The adult daughter is surly and unfriendly. I know people who have stopped going there because of the man, Richard.
