It's a great school for those who are serious about studying ballet and hope to possibly make a career of dancing; however, for the girls just starting out, there's not a ton of attention or information. Parents of little ones are advised to get their kids dancing/on stage at an early age; however, we don't get a lot feedback (everything from information/instructions about performances down to purchasing proper shoes). Performances, especially, seem to be somewhat disorganized w/regard to instructions for first-time parents. On the bright side, the older girls do seem to get a lot of guidance, instruction and attention. The hope that someday we'll get to interact more with the teaching staff keeps us coming back for now.

I highly reccomend Ballet Academy of Texas. This studio is the BEST in the area for all kinds of students but mainly for the students who want to become professional ballet dancers. Their company, Ballet Ensemble of Texas, looks equally as good as professional companies around the area. The students who have graduated from the studio have gone off to do many things like professional ballet companies, texas ballet theater, Tulsa ballet theater, Sarasota ballet, houston ballet, Texas dance theater, Orlando ballet, and more. They also have had students who have gotten many full scholarships to colleges around the nation. Last but not least they have had students who have become Dallas cowboy cheerleaders.

This is the best place for ballet instruction in the area. These girls are top notch ballet dancers and have received tons of recognition. If your child is interested in professional ballet, this is the place to be.
