The Coventry Senior Center is a part of the Coventry Department of Human Services, which assist in long-ranged care plans and counseling services. The Department of Human Services also offers a range of recreational and educational activities. It is operated by the Town of Coventry, R.I, which additionally manages animal control, police, school, public works, human services, tax collector, town council and treasurer departments. It houses a park and recreations department that is responsible for maintaining park property and municipal buildings. The town also operates library and zoning and planning departments.
