I went to the Danbury CHC twice the past few weeks. First time was for a checkup, second time was to follow up on my blood test. The first time I went, it took the doctor 40 minutes to see me. Okay, I figure the doctor is nice, maybe they were just understaffed that day. The second time, it took 1 hour and 15 minutes. I asked the receptionist why it was taking so long. She said they were waiting for an exam room to free up. When I was finally placed in an exam room, it took another 20 minutes for the doctor to see me. I noticed her playing musical rooms with other patients. I have never waited so long to see a doctor that I made an appointment for. I am not going to this place again.



In summary,

Pros: Nice doctor & staff

Cons: Egregiously long wait time, no followup from staff, no reminder phone call for appointment, ridiculously overscheduled appointments with few staff/doctors to pull their weight.

Toke me 40 mins. for someone to take my phone number down so that the person who makes new client appointments can contact me! In the 40 mins I was hung up on 4x and put on hold 3x ! Everytime I called back there was a new person! Once I said something about the bad service the women said that there was only once person that made appointments for new clients! ( Thats ridiculous ) & that she wasnt in! Mind you it was 11am. Not on their lunch time or break! HOW hard is it to make an appointment these days ??? They said that the front desk would have been able to help but that their system changed and I had to speak to this person! Theres 5 front desk people but only one person can help me? I felt like I was at the DMV to make ONE appointment! RIDICULOUS!!!!! & they told me if they dont call me back, to call them back at 2! How much you want to bet that they wont call me back?? Danbury clinics are as ratchet as the people who live here! SHAME!
