Ascent: A School for Individuals with Autism is a private, nonprofit school for children who are diagnosed with autism and developmental disorders. It provides a 12-month-long academic and behavioral treatment program to preschool and school-age children between the ages of 3 to 21. Ascent: A School for Individuals with Autism specializes in serving children with severe behavioral issues and who require a high degree of individualized attention and intervention. The school organizes fundraisers through basketball and golf tournaments, as well as flower shows and cycling competitions. It specializes in providing individualizes behavioral, pre-academic and academic programs based on the scientifically-derived principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
