Withholding medicine, these people have NO compassion, no mercy. I have been going to this vet for over a year. My cat has hyperthyroidism and needs her prescription for Methimazole refilled. Aspen Commons Animal Hospital said I have to make an appointment to get the prescription refilled. I explained that we could not afford to make an appointment right now, we simply do not have the money right now. The people at Aspen Commons Animal Hospital did not care.

I explained that we can barely afford the medicine, they do not care. I explained my cat will die without it, they do not care. I asked them for mercy, Aspen Commons Animal Hospital Refused to help.

I have gone here for many years and Dr James is the best of the best. His long years of experience have served my pets well.

Once, when he was out of town, I took my dog to a very famous, very expensive emergency clinic near by. I was taken care of by "intern" who flippantly quipped, "Oh, your dog has congenital heart failure. I give her 2 weeks or 2 months to live."

Dr James' Clinic called the next day as a follow up, but I thought my dog was a goner. So, I didn't go went back because the very famous clinic told me there was nothing that could be done for my dog. However, a month later, I rushed to Aspen Commons expecting it was the end for my dog. Her breathing was labored and I felt sure that we would be putting her to sleep.

Dr James looked at her and said," I am not ready to throw in the towel. Let's dry her lungs out and see what happens." Through his wonderful care she lived a full and happy two more years, not the two weeks/ months the very famous clinic had given her.

My mother's dog also suffers from heart failure and with this care is living a happy, active life.
