I am not an easy customer. I am very particular about what I like. So, I'm a custom work kind of person. I also have a limited budget. I went to Greg and Kelly with my old engagement ring to have them use the diamonds from that setting and put them into a new custom ring. We looked at rings in the case, rings in catalogs, Greg made up a mock ring, discussed different ways to set diamonds, exchanged two of my diamonds for more smaller ones to use in the band, talked about angles and edges and this list goes on. They made my new custom ring within my budget and I got more than I could ever have wanted. Their patience and obvious love for what they do is a wonderful thing. Customer service is their priority and it shows. I felt cared for and would recommend them without hesitation.

When something happens to your most prized possession, be it a pearl ring with a missing pearl, or a pearl heart necklace, that also was given to you by the love of your life, you end up walking into this jeweler acting like a crazy woman, bawling your eyes out. It was a pleasure to work with Greg and Kelley at Gem Jewelers in Derry NH. Years ago I was introduced to Gem Jewelers by my sister. Recently in July 2013, Gem Jewelers worked tirelessly with me to craft a one-of-a-kind engagement consisting of a 46 fancy yellow diamonds, yellow gold band, and most importantly, a 1.42 ctw family diamond that belonged to my Great Grandmother. This diamond is extremely important to my family and I (and now to my Fianc). Finding a jeweler to handle this job, was of great concern, however the staff at Gem Jewelers exceeded my expectations and crafted a beautiful ring that showcases the stone exceptionally well and is very well built ensuring a lifetime of pleasure. To say the least, my Fianc was elated not only because of the design of the ring; but because my family entrusted her to care for this heirloom throughout our marriage. Oh, and to top it off, Gem Jewelers completed this job in less than 2 weeks, start to finish! Phenomenal.

From my dealings it was my impression that the gentleman I dealt with was only trying to make money off me. He second guessed the watch band I brought to have placed on my watch as if to insinuate I should buy another one. He charged $15 to adjust another watch band (for literally two minutes of work), and he kept the pins he took out, giving me only the links. When I asked for the pins as well, he tried to act magnanimous and give me extra pins. Next time I will go to a place where costumers are treated as people and not as something to be milked.

I had my engagement ring and wedding bands made at Gem. The owner, Greg and women that works there helped with the design. All of the rings came out better then expected and at a very reasonable price.

I wouldn't hesitate to send friends and family to Gem. They are professional, honest and very nice.
