      General Info
      Duchesne County Commission looks after the administration of Duchesne County in Utah. It operates various departments, including buildings and grounds, public works, public lands, libraries, a children's justice center, animal control committee, geographic information systems, and planning and zoning. It also has other departments, such as department of work force services, counseling board and economic development departments. The programs offered by the commission include Uintah Basin Narcotics Strike Force, Revolving Loan Fund, Uintah Basin Medical Center, Tri-County Health, Revitalization and Utah Counties Insurance Pool programs. The information services department of the county provides computer installation services and maintains geographic information systems. The duties of the planning and zoning department include overseeing the subdivision development process, zoning, conditional use permits and road repair requests. The county commission is located in Duchesne, Utah.
