My wife and I took the mining tour and it was a truly great adventure. Dean the tour guide picked us at our hotel in Wenatchee and proceeded to the old mining town where we met up with Fred the miner. The entire tour was wonderful and even included panning for gold on Freds claim. What a treat. Dean cooked up a tasty BBQ lunch right next to the stream bed where we paned for goldyou get to keep the gold you find. We ended up with 22 colors in our pans.yeehaw. Fred let us take some pay-dirt home so we could practice our panning skills. These guys are great and knowledgeable. You MUST take this tour. And.yes we will do it again. great experience
