Pantagis is a 24 / 7 diner that served tasty 'diner food' for a reasonable price. Yesterday evening, my wife and I stopped by Pantagis for a meal. She had the Tuscany Salad with balsamic vinaigrette. The vinaigrette tasted like medicine and the mozzarella cheese had absolutely no flavor. I had the beef gyro with curly fries. The greens were wilted and the tzatziki sauce was sour. The waitress, Christina, was pleasant and helpful. She asked if we would like a drink, did not rush us to order, and returned periodically to ask if there was anything else that we would like. She even asked if we would like a dessert. The food quality is not what we have experienced in the past. Because of this, it will a long time coming before our next visit.

Watch out for "No Singles Sally". This diner is very convent (especially with "The Duchess" closed). Its diner food, expect no more. On every visit the cashier a.k.a "No Singles Sally" never has any singles for change, so if you don't receive singles with your change, Sally will happily give you fives or tens for you tipping pleasure. I now pay with credit card and add the tip and hope the waitress/waiter get their money.

This is a family run diner, staff very friendly, all the food is fresh, great selection! it's worth the trip, the CHEESECAKE IS HOMEMADE AND TO DIE FOR!!! I can't believe I just heard about this place and I'm so glad I did, I highly recommend you take a trip there!! The prices are cheap too! Annie from S. Brunswick
