Prabhdeep Singh, MD, is a board-certified internist providing primary care through the Imperial Valley Family Care Medical Group. He is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.As a primary care physician, Dr. Singh provides preventive care and treatment of acute and chronic diseases for adults. Dr. Singh helps people manage high blood pressure, diabetes and complications of the disease, high cholesterol, and living at a healthy weight. He also sees patients for wart/mole removal, menopause treatment, immigration physicals, workmens compensation, pre-employment drug screening and physicals, allergies, arthritis, asthma and joint injections. Dr. Singh has cared for the medical needs of people in the Imperial Valley since 1998, and has been a part of the Imperial Valley Family Care Medical Group since 2008. Dr. Singh earned his medical degree from Government Medical College in Amritsar, India, He completed a general rotating internship and residency at the S.G.T.B. Medical Hospital, Government Medical College and H.R. Nayyar Memorial Hospital in Amritsar, India, and a second residency training program in internal medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Proud to be involved in the Imperial Valley community, Dr. Singh is a member of the El Centro Rotary Club, and served a 2-year term on the board of directors of the El Centro Chamber of Commerce.
