Nissans are good cars but AVOID THIS PARTICULAR DEALERSHIP!

My wife had purchased a Nissan Ultima from a used car dealership where we live. When she received a service recall, we had to take the car to this dealership. While there, we decided we would look into upgrading her vehicle, so talked to a sales rep on different pricing. Of course, they went through the usual nonsense that dealers go through trying to up-sell the entire time.

My wife wanted to have a few more upgrades in the vehicle, but keep her loan amount the same, where we would pay a cash different for the various extras. After five hours of going through this dealership's nonsense, they finally gave us an offer for a used vehicle which had a number of nice extras to the car. The monthly payment would be $5 more and we had to put $3,000 down. We then had to wait another hour while their loan officer got the paperwork ready.

When we sat down with the loan officer, he handed us paper after paper to sign, where AGAIN, I reiterated that I just want to make sure the loan is the same, and I was assured it was.

So now a month has gone by and I received my first car payment and see that the balance due is almost 18k as opposed to the 13k that my wife's original balance was. I THEN LOOKED INTO THE PAPERWORK TO SEE THAT THE DEALERSHIP CHANGED MY LOAN FROM A 60 MONTH TO A 75 MONTH TERM LOAN WITHOUT TELLING ME THIS!

There were a number of other minor issues we encountered with the customer service, but this is, by far, my biggest issue.

Nissan has some nice cars, but this dealership is VERY deceptive so I would advise all to avoid this dealership and find one of the many other Nissan dealers in the area.

August 2012 visited the dealership test drove a Dodge Charger. Was told everything looked good as for my application. Needless to say the car I was interested in was not the charger but a Chrysler 300 I was told it was sold..On my way to use the bathroom I happened to see the car in the service department. This car the Chrysler was less then the Charger. After giving me the run around they informed me they were unable to find a company to finance me. Shoddy business and bad business practices

My son test drove a vehicle th...

My son test drove a vehicle that he really liked and I explained to the Internet Sales Manager that I wanted to research the durability of the vehicles engine and that I would be back in the morning. With a hand shake the Internet Manager told the salesman to put a sold sign on the vehicle. Three hours later I get a call from the Internet Sales Manager that the vehicle is being test driven. He explained to me that if I gave him a deposit over the phone that he would permanently put a sold sign on the vehicle window. I agreed to this and told him I would close the deal in the morning. I get a call from the Internet Sales Manager the next morning and he tells me the car was sold even after I had given them a good faith deposit. Need I say more, you be the Judge!
