I used to recommend Avalon Automotive. Never again. I took my partner's car here last week for a routine oil change and tire rotation. Shortly after picking it up, the wheel fell off! Dale, the mechanic, did not attach any lug nuts. At first they tried to just give us new lug nuts and send us on our way, but then agreed to cover body work. Warren fought me every step of the way, complaining about the costs of the repair and the rental, as if I chose to have this happen. Unbelievably, Warren had the nerve to claim that I colluded with the auto body shop to bill extra work and that I kept the rental too long. I worked with a highly rated and respected body shop across the street. All I asked them to do was repair the damage caused by Avalon. I have no control over how long it takes, and Warren should know that. If he had concerns about the work being performed or the rental details, he should have taken it up with the body shop and the rental place. Instead he took it out on me, the victim of Avalon's negligence. Warren was very aggressive and used foul language over the phone. I asked him to refund us for the service (only $160) as compensation for the inconvenience and he blew up, screaming and cursing at me. Seriously? If the wheel fell off at highway speeds, my partner could have died. Warren should be ashamed of himself. If you value the safety of your loved ones and appreciate people who are respectful and honor their commitments, stay far away from Avalon Automotive. -Jonathan

Great people, willing to go the extra steps and check out all those "strange noises", with out charging you for every little glance. They know what they're doing and will take the time to explain what they'll be doing.
