The yellow church used to actually take time to make good meals that weren't what you would find at any other restaurant in town. lately they haven't been making very appetizing or delicious food and its sad because it used to be my favorite place to go. Too bad. Also overpriced for a mediocre meal and small portions. I wouldn't bother stopping here any more.

The food is excellent, but the management has lost my business for good. My wife and I had dinner in the restaurant and decided to use a gift certificate to get some food to take home for the following day. When we got home and looked at the take-out, it was about 1/2 of what we are usually served in the restaurant.



When I spoke with the owner about this issue, he informed me that he doesn't make any money running the restaurant and that I should give him a break. When I asked how he would take care of my concerns, he said "What do you want me to do, take money out of my wallet?" What kind of owner says that? The kind of owner that could care less about his customers. So, Yellow Church has lost a good customer who would have spent a lot of money over the years, because they were not willing to find a solution to a simple problem.



The food is great, but I hope that you never have a concern - apparently the customer is never right at Yellow Church.

Beware the Carrot and Chocolate Cakes, you'll only want more! Be sure to call ahead to make sure they're open, they close at 'DINNER' (basically when the crowds slow down and they want to go home). I will admit that their service isn't as good as I would like it to be, but the food is definately worth it! Creative atmosphere with a menue consisting of delicious pastas, burgers, sea food, steak, soups, salads, wine, and did I mention the cake? When in doubt, always buy cake. (unless you're health concious in which the garden burger is delicous)
