Century Air is a superior company and school. I was so impressed by the quality of training materials, airplanes and simulators. They have the best instructors, comprehensive training programs and industry knowledge - all operating under the precise and highly experienced direction of retired American Airlines Captain Richard Greene. I have flown with them and had an excellent experience. If you are looking for a QUALITY pilot training program, in my opinion, Century Air is the only choice in the NY/NJ area.

I've been a pilot for over 15 years. I started at Teterboro Airport, and have since been flying out of Century Air in Caldwell (KCDW). Their planes are kept above the FAA standard and their instructors are excellent for both the beginner or a seasoned pilot looking for recurrent training (Their off-site simulator training is outstanding too!) So when it comes to flying lessons, this is something you should definitely consider. Instead of reading internet reviews, see them for yourself. For more information about my background, feel free to visit youtube-dot-com-slash-altitude9, contact me there and I'll be happy to give you more info. Safe flying!! :)

As a professional Educator, I have to say Century Air is the Flight School everyone should be selecting for their training. After visiting almost all of the flight schools in Northern New Jersey, I stepped through the doors of Century Air to find I would have to make an appointment to see Mr. Greene the President and owner of Century Air. I thought WOW what a professional environment. I returned later that week to speak with Mr. Greene to find that he tells the truth about Flight Training and the Aviation Industry. It didnt take but the drive home to know where I would be conducting my Flight training. I had the opportunity to complete many ratings from Instrument to Multi-Engine Instructor, and I cant say enough about the level of professionalism I experienced from every employee at Century Air. Century Air has extremely competitive pricing for their Instructors, aircraft and flight training materials necessary to complete your training. In many cases I believe Centurys prices to be lower than many other training centers. Centurys FAA approved custom curriculums allow students to see their progress and meet their goals in the shortest time possible. I know that without Century Air I would have never risen to the level of professionalism I have achieved. It is my pleasure to recommend Century Air to all persons with the dream of flight or the dream of becoming a professional Pilot.

I completed some advanced training at Century Air in October 2012 and highly recommend Richard Greene and his team. I have flown with at least 40 instructors at 18 flight schools in 10 different states over the last 19 years and the school's instructors and staff are by far the most professional that I have encountered. Whether you are considering your Private, Instrument, CFI or insurance-mandated sim training, Century is the best at what they do.

This is a really good school for pilot training. I studied here for my private pilot certificate and met a lot of pilots doing different types of training. Some students there are just learning for fun and there are also lots of career training pilots. Its a really good place to learn to fly. Its not easy though - you will have to work at it, but its worth it!
