Horrible service !!
They worked 3 times just to fix an oil leakage. Finally by the third time they damaged an engine so the "check engine" message was light on ( it's never happened before). No apology, no compensation for rent when my car stayed at their facilities because of their fault. Also, the owner was rude and unpleasant. Stay away !!

I found Ame’s auto repair online looking for places that specialized in Mercedes Benz since my local Mercedes dealer was quoting me $800.00 for a driver’s side seat module. I decided to look into repair shops that specialized in Mercedes and found Aime’s auto repair in Fallriver, Ma. Since I am not from the area, I ended up having to rent a car so that the (owner-husband) could “DIAGNOSE” the problem. I then received a call from the wife telling me that my car needed a module that would cost $800.00. Hmmm, strange since they supposedly charged “less for labor and less than a dealer”. I decided to leave to shop around for a better price. Not only did they charge me $98.00 for a misdiagnosis, I had to spend $47.00 on a rental.

When I got a SECOND OPINION, The man quickly noticed that the FUSE THAT CONTROLLED THE SEAT WAS BURNT OUT and since he couldn’t find the original module that was taken out of my seat by Ame’s auto repair, the man tested the seat with another module and the seat worked perfectly. I decided to call Ame’s back early Sat. a.m. to ask why they hadn’t left the module under the seat and asked why they didn’t find the burnt out fuse. They didn't return my call until Monday a.m. yet their answering machine claims to check messages often. She then told me that her husband said that the fuse was fine when they had the car and they’d call me back to tell me when I could pick up the module. So I decided to unexpectedly show up at their shop to pick up my module anyway. When I drove into the driveway, the owner stormed out of his shop and was EXTREMELY RUDE to me. He told me that he didn’t care what I thought because he was “professional”. Red flag: Never did I once accuse him of being unprofessional. I simply wanted my module back. He then kept saying “I don’t even want to hear you, don’t even say anything” when I was completely calm and being neither offensive nor argumentative. He was so angry that he told me that he never wanted to see me in his shop again and continued to tell me to be quiet because he didn’t want to hear it. He also told me that he didn’t care what I thought because he would get business anyway. Very odd behavior over something that simply did not belong to him. Sounds like he was more upset at the fact that he wasn’t going to make an easy $800.00 from a stolen part.

My equipment should have been put back the way it was found, The fuse box should have been checked before diagnosing anything, and what I should have gotten was an apology and my money back for a misdiagnosis and an inconvenience!! not an attack on behalf of the owner. I will be reporting this to the better business bureau and I will spread the word to other repair shops and friends. I hope people do not give people like this business. Lord knows how long he’s been doing this to people.

The best decision I ever made!

I have a 1994 Saab, I had been to 4 repair shops and none of them could figure out what was wrong with my vehicle. The last repair shop I went too referred me to Aime's Auto Repair, I told them that I wasn't interested in spending more money on a garage that could no fix my vehicle. But, the repair shop said that Brian would not steer me wrong and that he specialized on all foreign and domestic vehicles. I gave him a try. That same day he called me and said he new what was wrong with my vehicle and he could guarantee a fix. He took the time to explain everything to me and didn't talk to me like other garages b/c I'm a woman. He saved all of the old parts to show me and went into detail as to what went wrong. I couldn't believe it, and it cost me less than going to the other repair shops. Brian, at Aime's Auto Repair is now my mechanic for all my problems and regular maintenance jobs.Sincerely,Karen
