Dr. Habern has done 8 (yes, thats eight) sets of braces for my family over the past 20 years. Seven for my children, the 8th for me. My bite was causing my front teeth to chip which braces will help me preserve them. Hes always been professional and patient with my family. Hes also made an effort to do smaller and less extensive work whenever possible. One of my children needed braces young due to a problem that needed to be addressed. A couple years later one of his permanent teeth was growing in behind another tooth, requiring a second round. He waited as long as was feasible to see if it would straighten out and come in on its own before recommending oral surgery and another set. It should be apparent that I trust him or I wouldnt have sent all my kids there. Nor would I have him fix my teeth as well. Weve been in good hands.

My experience with Dr. Habern has been wonderful. The staff is educated and professional. The atmosphere is kid and adult friendly.

When my husband and I were in for our consultation we felt very catered to. Our daughter enjoyed the gameroom and the ice cream machine. However, on our next few visits (we have only had 3 adjustment appointments so far) we felt very rushed and each time Dr. Habern has come to the chair to look at my daughter which has been for a brief minute each time, he seemed to be agitated and in a crabby mood. Another concerning thought, our neighbor who took her son to this office said that when her sons braces were removed the doctor was never at the chair. He had one of the assistants take them off and she also used the drill on his teeth to remove the glue which I thought the dentist/ortho was the only one qualified and licensed to do such a procedure. My husband and I are unsettled by the whole experience and are considering switching to another orthodontist.

A factory ... the results are just fine. Just don't expect caring and compassionate service ... because all they are interested in is your $$$. But the teeth do get straightened ...
