...we were in the area and happened upon Pampas Argentinas on a rainy October Saturday night. My traveling companion saw the place and wanted to go there...I had my misgivings.



Turns out I was right...the steaks (a ribeye, a T bone and a strip steak) were the TOUGHEST steaks we've collectively ever had. I pulled an arm muscle cutting mine (with a huge, serrated steak knife, no less!) and my jaws ached from all the chewing.



Although the decor was nice (except for the front door that slammed every time it closed, shaking the house) and the service was OK (the owners were really trying), I cannot recommend this place until they find a better meat supplier. Sorry folks...we get better in San Diego!

One of the top restaurants in the area and definitely the best Argentine restaurant in Queens. I recommend the steaks, fish entrees and the crepes for dessert. Oh yeah and of course a nice bottle of Argentine wine to accompany the whole experience. (Great place to take a date!)

It opened up recently but has already proved itself to be a Forest Hills staple. There's a lot of variety and everything I've tried has been exceptional, particularly the steak and fish dishes. This is a true asset to the neighborhood and a must do for everyone.

Beautiful restaurant, great service and delicious food...what more can you ask for in a restaurant?

A great new addition to the neighborhood! The food was great and the variety too (something for everybody). Really great place all around- from the food, to the service, to the atmosphere. I'll definetly go back.
