Tannahill Intermediate School serves more than 850 students in grades five and six. The school provides classes in reading, writing and math. It also administers the Steps Toward Achieving Recogntion (STAR) program. Tannahill Intermediate School has a staff of over 65 faculty members. In addition, the school operates drama, art, math, science, journalism and breakfast book clubs. It additionally provides student programs related to arts, band, choir and physical education. The school administers various summer school programs that include recreational activities. Tannahill Intermediate School is a part of the White Settlement ISD, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools.
