My sister and I both had the Granite Shop do the granite in our kitchens and the job was done quickly and the price was competative with other shops. I work in real estate and have seen literally hundreds of granite countertops. The work the Granite Shop did in our homes is as good as any I've seen. We are currently having the new Granite Place price out a client's home. Will update when I can review the craftsmanship under new mangagement/ownership.

Upadating the information just a little. The granite shop has gone under new management as of Mid January, 2010 and it is now called, "Granite Place". These guys are very respectfull, extremly nice, very clean and fast to do any installation. The are cheaper than other places and they are about customer satisfaction 100%. Will You get that anywhere esle??? Try them and chose for yourself. They are great!!!

This place should be avoided. Poor workmanship, followed by deceit. There are many options out there - take them!

Not as good now that Sandy has left

I used the granite shop to have kitchen countertops installed. They were very professional and did not charge me when I had to reassign the initial measurement, even though the contract indicated that I would have to do so. One of the pieces of granite was broken during the install, but they installers were able to bring a new piece out the same day to minimize my inconvenience. They also seal their granite with a 20 yr+ sealer, so it never has to be re-sealed, making maintenance very easy. It was also very affordable, costing only $600 dollars more for granite than a quote I received for new laminate countertops.
