Huge black Rottweiler (the owner's?) barked aggressively through glass door. People inside ignored the situation. What the heck?? I'm a dog-lover, but that kind of "welcome" is unsatisfactory. I didn't open the door, and I will never go there again. I trust my dog, but I don't trust anyone else's. And I am NOT offended that many people are uncomfortable or afraid of my dog, so I NEVER let my dog roam the house with first-time visitors or let him approach strangers. You never know what will happen. The store is guilty of ridiculous negligence and disrespect to potential customers, many of whom do not know much about dogs. One thing I know: Most owners of Rottweilers who bit, attacked, disfigured, or killed people NEVER would imagine or admit THEIR dog would do such a thing. SERIOUSLY, it is a store. Run it like one.

I went to Crisy's critters today and it was really awesome. All the animals are hold able,very friendly and well taken care of. The employees Were very informative And helpful. I will all ways come back here, they have the best prices around town.:)

I've been there a few times already and really like the shop. The saltwater selection they have is great and so are the prices. My girls love going in there and looking at the different animals they offer. Definitely will be shopping there again !

I just bought three saltwater fish from there a week ago and had no problems. They are doing well in my tank. The people that help you out, are very knowledgeable and want to make your experience the best. I'm glad there is a great pet store in Fredericksburg now. Don't have to drive to far to get what I need and everywhere else is over priced. If you want to buy quality premium fish that's isn't over priced, Crisy's Critters is a great place. Did I mention, they have live feeders in different sizes. Try going to PETCO and getting a rat pup to feed my snake. Last but not lest, there is a lot of stressful and spoiled people out there, try something out before you miss out on an awesome experience due to a "frustrated" individual.

I have visited the store on numerous occasions and I have not purchased any fish yet. There salt water is a great selection and changes often, and I have never seen the same fish ordered twice. My only concern is there prices ARE WAY TO LOW for the type of fish they bring in and sell. Some of there chain and local stores competitors have the same fish and there prices are almost doubled to Chrissy's. Chrissy's is either doing it right and keeping it honest and will be very successful or she is doing it wrong and will sink. But all and all the quality of them look top notch. Now if you want to know or handle the other pets in the store just ask her children. They are respectful and extremely knowledgeable and love to help any one. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! I WILL GLADLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!

I love crisys store. Everytime i go in there i am well respected. She gives me alot of good information and advice on things. This is a familyran business and i like that. If you complain about customer service,shoot i go into petco or petsmart and have to walk around to find a worker. At crisys they are so acknowledgable. They are the best around.

I have been to the store a few times. You have to understand this is a mom and pop type of operation. She know a lot about the animals and maybe less about the fish but it is hard to know all about everything. For those that complain about saltwater fish dying I will tell you that I have bought saltwater fish from various places and had them die due to stress for even a short ride home. Every fish is different. It would surprise me if she didn't offer some type of store credit of some type but it is a new business and the sales may be final. My kids enjoyed going to the store since the Owners kids are often there and can share better with kids. I think that you will have a worse experience at a chain petstore. They may give you a refund but they are also getting volume amount of fish and you never know the quality. I prefer a smaller operation where you can get to know the source. Just my 2 cents.

1st let me say...the people here have good intentions but thats as far as it goes. These folks are completely clueless when it comes to business and customer service. They (she) represents herself as knowledgable and she is, as an employee not a small business owner...so BUYERS BEWARE! This store has no posted disclosures about the lack of guarantees on any saltwater livestock. I recently purchased a moderately priced ($60) saltwater fish and I took it home, followed all suggested methods of acclaimations and got up the morning with hopes of enjoying a new visual addition. Dispare...it didn't survive the stress of transport from LA to Richmond to my home in the short period of time. I then contacted the store to seek assistance in discussion of the policies of live stock guarantees...most reputable live stock provider will ask for the deceased item and a sample of water to determine responsibility and work with the customer to resolve. She is very smart, and really is all about the animals. She just opened so the store is a little empty and she don't have a sign up which makes her hard to find. But we found her. I received a custom ordered lizard from her and it was the best pet. Nothing beats a knowledgeable and friendly person who cares about pets and customers.
