This was a big disappoint in customer service. I have been to the hair braiding once before but the lady Mya that took care of me at this particular visit was just outright rude. I brought my own hair for kinky twist and for some apparent reason she mentioned she could not use it because it was "bad hair." Keep in mind she was selling her hair twice the price that I paid for mine. She also spoke negatively in French which she didn't realize that I too speak. After she mentioned I would not receive the style that I wanted, I asked her to terminate the process. Even the other two ladies who were working there were more courteous. They seemed to be embarrassed by her conduct. One lady even asked her in French what is wrong with the hair.

Having my hair braided with all types of hair in New York, I feel Mya just lacked the necessary skills to use that hair. I work on a daily basis with customers and if you are excellent at what you do, you will work with any setbacks. Having a satisfied customer never fails and goes a long way. Mya's rudeness left a bad taste in my mouth and unfortunately I cannot recommend this place to anyone. I went to another hair braiding place right after I left there and was scheduled for an appointment. I even showed the hair to the stylist and she mentioned she can work with it. Now that's good customer service!

Ok I procrastinated a bit and was down to the wire, my two girls needed their hair braided before the first day of school. I called and spoke with Unique, she not only got us in today,but when we showed up she was ready for us! She did a beautiful job on both girls and was fun,timely,and priced fairly. Best experience with a childs hair appt ever! She made my girls so comfortable. We will definately be back and will refer our friends and their children!
